Amman, Jordan: In line with its ongoing humanitarian efforts and its responsibility to ensure underprivileged children have the chance to lead healthy and normal life, Bank ABC in Jordan supported the Gift of Life Amman (GLOA) by covering the cost of several heart surgeries for children.
As part of this support, Ms. Rasha Taher, Head of Corporate Communications at Bank ABC in Jordan, visited the children who recently underwent open-heart surgery to follow up on their recovery and to offer them moral encouragement and support.
The strategic partnership between the Bank and the GOLA has continued for fifteen years and is considered one of the key humanitarian initiatives that the Bank prioritises within its corporate social responsibility efforts, due to its significant impact on safeguarding the health of underprivileged children. The Bank is keen to support the Association’s mission to enable it to continue its humanitarian work and to facilitate the medical procedures for children of various nationalities, ensuring they receive a better chance at life.
In this context, Mr. George Farah Sofia, General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, said: “We believe that children’s health is the foundation of a better future, and it is our duty to be part of the solution. Our support to the Gift of Life Charity Association reflects our deep commitment to our humanitarian responsibility, and we will continue working to provide hope and a chance at life for underprivileged children.”
